How much does a princess babysitter cost in Orlando?
$199 for three hours with up to three children. Extra hours are $50 per hour, and a second character is $149 if you have four or more kids or simply want two.
That price is the whole thing. The costume, the character work, and the childcare are one service, not a performance fee stacked on top of a sitting rate. For comparison, a party princess appearance in Orlando typically runs $250 or more for 45 minutes and the parents are expected to stay.
Where in Orlando do you come to?
Anywhere in the Orlando metro, which for us means your hotel room, your vacation rental, or your own house. Most of our Orlando bookings are families staying near the parks, but plenty are local parents in Winter Park, Dr. Phillips, Windermere, and Lake Nona who just want a date night.
Sitters travel to you in regular clothes and change once they are inside. The first time your child sees the character, it is a surprise in your living room, not a woman in a gown walking through a hotel lobby.
What actually happens during a booking?
Your sitter arrives about ten minutes early to meet you and go over anything she needs to know. You show her where things are, tell her about allergies and bedtime, and leave. She stays in character with your kids for the full booking: games, crafts, stories, dinner if that is part of it, and bedtime if you are out late.
You get a check-in message during the evening so you are not wondering. Before every booking you fill in allergies, special needs, emergency contacts, and any instructions, and your sitter reads all of it before she arrives.
Who are the sitters?
Every sitter passes a comprehensive background check covering criminal history, sex offender registries, and identity verification before her first booking, and completes a safety orientation covering emergency procedures and childcare protocols.
Many come from theater, education, and theme park performance backgrounds, which is where the character work comes from. But the reason they are on the platform is that they are good with kids. The costume is the part your child remembers. The vetting is the part you should care about.
How far ahead should I book?
Tomorrow onward is bookable, and dates 30 to 120 days out can be reserved for any character with qualified sitters. Weekends near the parks and holiday weeks go first, so if you are traveling to Orlando on a specific date, book when you book your hotel.
For a specific character on a specific night, earlier is genuinely better. Sitter assignment is confirmed 30 days before the booking.

We have nine princess characters available: the Ice Queen, the Fearless Sister, the Lantern Dreamer, the Golden Rose, the Wayfinder, the Frog Princess, the Glass Slipper, the Fairy Friend, and the Mermaid Explorer. The Playroom Teacher joins them as a special guest. You can request a specific character when you book.
Can I book two princess babysitters at once?
Yes, you can book two princess babysitters at once for a duo experience. If you have 4 or more children, a second character is required for safety and quality (maximum 6 children with two characters). You can also add a second character for smaller groups at the add-on rate of $149.
Do you offer babysitting at Disney resorts and hotels?
Yes, our princess babysitters come to any hotel, resort, or vacation rental in the Orlando and Tampa service areas, including Disney resorts and nearby hotels. Sitters travel to your room in civilian attire and do a costume reveal once inside, keeping the magic special for your little ones.
Is a princess babysitter worth it compared to a regular sitter in Orlando?
It depends on what you need. A standard Orlando babysitter runs roughly $18 to $25 per hour and is a fine choice for a routine evening. A princess babysitter costs $199 for three hours and turns the night into something your child looks forward to instead of resists.
