Princess Babysitters in Tampa
Tampa Bay families get the same thing Orlando does: a vetted, background-checked sitter who arrives in costume, stays in character, and actually takes care of your kids while you are out. Date nights, birthdays, weddings, and the ordinary Saturday when you need a few hours.
How much does a princess babysitter cost in Tampa?
$199 for three hours with up to three children, the same as Orlando. Extra hours are $50 per hour and a second character is $149, which is required once you have four or more children and covers up to six.
There is no travel surcharge inside the Tampa Bay service area and no separate performance fee. The price you see covers the sitter, the costume, and the character work together.
Which parts of Tampa Bay do you cover?
Tampa proper, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Westchase, and Wesley Chapel, plus the neighborhoods in between. Hyde Park, Channelside, and the Riverwalk area are frequent date night bookings, and beach hotels on the St. Pete and Clearwater side are common for visiting families.
If you are not sure whether your address is in range, book and we will tell you before anything is charged.
Is this different from what you do in Orlando?
The service is identical. The difference is who books it. Orlando skews toward families on vacation who need a sitter at their hotel. Tampa skews local: parents who want a date night, a birthday that is not a full party, or childcare during a wedding reception.
Because Tampa is a local market rather than a tourist one, repeat bookings with the same sitter are common, and that familiarity is usually what parents end up valuing most.
Can I book for a wedding or an event in Tampa?
Yes, and it is one of our more popular Tampa bookings. One or more sitters staff a kids' room during the reception so the children have somewhere to be and the adults get an actual evening.
Tampa Bay has a lot of venues where this works well, from waterfront hotels to historic event spaces. Tell us the venue and the headcount when you book and we will work out how many characters you need.
What happens during a Tampa booking?
Your sitter arrives about ten minutes early in regular clothes, meets you, and goes over anything she needs to know. She changes once she is inside, so the first time your children see the character is in your own living room.
From there she is in character for the whole booking: games, crafts, stories, dinner, and bedtime if you are out late. You get a check-in message partway through the evening. Before the booking you fill in allergies, special needs, emergency contacts, and any instructions, and she reads all of it before arriving.
How far ahead should I book in Tampa?
Bookings start from tomorrow, so a Friday night needs to be booked by Thursday. Because Tampa is a local market rather than a tourist one, weekday evenings are usually easier to fill than Orlando's, but Saturdays still go first.
For a specific character on a specific date, or for anything with more than one sitter, book as far ahead as you can. Dates 30 to 120 days out can be reserved, and sitter assignment is confirmed 30 days before the booking.
Common questions
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve the Orlando and Tampa metro areas in Florida. Orlando is our primary market given the volume of family tourists, but Tampa families can book for date nights, birthdays, and special occasions as well.
Are your babysitters background checked?
Yes, every princess babysitter on our platform passes a comprehensive background check before their first booking. Sitters also complete a safety-focused platform orientation covering emergency procedures and childcare protocols. Your children's safety is our top priority.
How much does a princess babysitter cost?
A princess babysitting experience at Enchanted Childcare costs $199 for three hours with up to three children. You can add extra hours at $50 per hour per character, or add a second character for $149 if you have four or more kids or want a duo experience. With two characters, we can watch up to six children.
Which characters are available?
We have nine princess characters available: the Ice Queen, the Fearless Sister, the Lantern Dreamer, the Golden Rose, the Wayfinder, the Frog Princess, the Glass Slipper, the Fairy Friend, and the Mermaid Explorer. The Playroom Teacher joins them as a special guest. You can request a specific character when you book.
Do you charge extra to come to St. Petersburg or Clearwater?
No. St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Westchase, and Wesley Chapel are all inside the Tampa Bay service area at the standard rate of $199 for three hours. There is no distance surcharge within the service area.
Are the same characters available in Tampa as in Orlando?
Character availability depends on which sitters are active in each market, so the Tampa lineup can differ from Orlando on a given date. The booking page shows exactly which characters are available for your date and area before you pay.
