Wedding Babysitting in Orlando and Tampa
The guests you most want on the dance floor are usually the ones who leave at eight because their kids are done. A staffed kids' room fixes that, and if the sitter happens to be a princess, the children think they got the better end of the deal.
How does wedding childcare work?
You book one or more sitters for a block of hours during your reception. They set up in a suite, a side room, or a designated space at the venue, and the children stay there with crafts, games, movies, and dinner while the adults are at the party.
For a destination wedding where guests are staying at the hotel anyway, in-room childcare for individual families is often simpler than one shared room. Both work, and which one is right usually depends on how many children are coming and how the venue is laid out.
How many sitters do we need?
Three children per sitter, six with two. So a wedding with ten children under ten needs about four characters. Tell us the headcount and the ages when you book and we will tell you honestly what it takes to staff it well.
Ages matter as much as the count. A room of four-year-olds needs more hands than a room of nine-year-olds, and a single infant changes the math on its own.
What does wedding babysitting cost?
The same rate as any booking: $199 for three hours per character with up to three children, $50 per additional hour, and $149 for a second character. Receptions usually run longer than three hours, so most wedding bookings add hours.
For a wedding with a lot of children, the total is real money. It is also the difference between guests who stay through the last song and guests who are gone before the cake.
Which venues do you work at?
Any venue in the Orlando or Tampa Bay service areas that has a space we can use. Resort weddings, hotel ballrooms, waterfront venues, and private estates all work as long as there is a room for the children.
Talk to your venue coordinator early. The main things to confirm are which room the kids can use and whether the venue has its own requirements for outside vendors.

Yes, every princess babysitter on our platform passes a comprehensive background check before their first booking. Sitters also complete a safety-focused platform orientation covering emergency procedures and childcare protocols. Your children's safety is our top priority.
Can I book two princess babysitters at once?
Yes, you can book two princess babysitters at once for a duo experience. If you have 4 or more children, a second character is required for safety and quality (maximum 6 children with two characters). You can also add a second character for smaller groups at the add-on rate of $149.
What happens if my child has allergies or special needs?
Before every booking, parents provide allergy details, special needs information, emergency contacts, and any special instructions through a pre-booking form. Your princess babysitter reviews all of this information before arriving so they're fully prepared to care for your child safely.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve the Orlando and Tampa metro areas in Florida. Orlando is our primary market given the volume of family tourists, but Tampa families can book for date nights, birthdays, and special occasions as well.
How far in advance should we book wedding childcare?
As early as you can, and certainly once you have a guest count. Weddings need several sitters on the same date, which is harder to staff than a single booking. Dates 30 to 120 days out can be reserved, and for a wedding we would encourage the far end of that range.
Do the sitters stay in character the whole reception?
Yes, that is the service. For a long reception the character work naturally softens as the evening goes on and the younger children wind down, which is what you want. The priority is always the childcare.
